    That's my assumption, as well. However, I would suggest that it should simply be No.1 road, as is the convention. With the building of the new barn the long siding will no longer be a long siding as it will essentially be the same length as all the other sidings.

    Is that the main line further over to the right? I'm trying to picture where this new building will lie, but slightly confused with where the current pit compound sits at NB.

    Whilst it is good that they are building something. Why on earth will it have no sides and doors ? Surely the whole point of a carriage shed is to keep them secure and away from the weather, theft and vandalism, especially as they have had vandals previously. From the picture, anyone can just walk straight in.

    I am also surprised that there does not appear to be any firewall between carriage roads, to protect stock.
