    I'm guessing diesel though, as they're 75mph light engine paths. 70000 wouldn't be allowed to do that solo, and 0 headcode indicates light engine rather than engine and coach.

    Running early after missing out the scheduled stops at Bentley and Farnham, 60103 Flying Scotsman climbs the hill to Aldershot this morning after completing her very successful visit to the Mid Hants Railway.
    There was a very large gathering on this bridge to watch her pass:

    Looks as though Scotsman is stuck at Milton Keynes on the Down Slow behind 5 other trains trying to get past Hanslope Junction where there has been a signalling failure affecting all lines. Avanti West Coast advise all lines are blocked with knock on cancellations and delays of upto 120 minutes.

    Not steam, but a friend has just phoned to say that he saw two green diesel locos + one 'blood and custard' coach going through Manchester Victoria this morning heading towards Yorkshire. Any ideas anyone?
