    As a fellow signwriter that's a very helpful article thank you, duly bookmarked! It's gratifying to know someone else uses my method of scanning different examples and picking your favourite shapes! I've also found Franklin Gothic Heavy a good match for a general purpose grouping sans-serif font, with a few alterations on letters like S, G, and the length of horizontals on Es and Fs. I've not had anyone pick me up on it yet, although I rather suspect I'm the only one on the railway who cares sometimes....!
