LE Movements, ECS and Test Runs 2020

Does anybody know what the first one is? It's booked at Hellifield Goods Loops 13.12 to 13.50 - does that imply steam also?

 

Looking at the codes they are both steam but I suspect one will be cancelled with the later being the most likely but I could be wrong.

 

How good it is to read again of light engine and stock moves. It appears that life is steadily returning to normal. <BJ>

 

Will N09 get towed across the Pennines by a diesel or go on the back of a low loader? If it were towed would it be in steam?

 

Out of idle curiosity more than anything, why is Tornado headed to Carnforth? Is there work booked for it that it's a handy staging post for, or is it simply that it's a better storage and maintenance option than the NRM?

 

It's for some work to be done on the support coach according to the A1 Trust.

Cracking shot Shep as not all pictures need exhaust plus I like the fact you didn’t doctor the crossing sign out on photoshop as most would’ve

 

What was missing from the Trust's explanation was that they wanted to keep the loco and the support coach together and/or that they wanted to use the opportunity to run the loco. Otherwise the coach could have been taken to Carnforth by a diesel.

 

Class 47 D1935 to run light engine today. Probably a route refresher for Wednesday. <BJ>
