Help Sought With Locations

I am looking for help in tracing the locations that I took the attached photographs. They were all taken from trains that I was travelling on, hence my lacking of knowledge re their exact location.
From memory, this was taken between Newcastle and Sunderland.

The Q6 photograph was taken between shed visits at Tyne Dock and West Hartlepool. A difficult one to answer, but I wonder if it is on a station approach, hopefully the 'garden' may hold a clue.


35027 Port Line taken between shed visits at Bournemouth and Weymouth. Could it be Poole?

 

I'd agree with Poole for the last one - the curvature of the line, location of sidings and signal box all agree assuming you were heading from Bournemouth to Weymouth.

The floodlights would be the speedway track - see this photo form 1970 (near your date):

Thanks for that, Poole it is. The floodlights were a mystery, initially thinking it was a football ground but there is only two pylons in view, never thought of speedway!

 

I'm pretty sure that the pic of 90588 is between Sunderland and Hartlepool at Cemetery North Jn, Hartlepool and you are passing the Steetley Magnesite works on the left. The works has all gone now.

 

Thank you - I was hoping the factory would be the clue to answering the question.
