Kirklees have posted on Facebook today that services should run this weekend, change of restrictions shouldn't have major affect as "in a nutshell, you may still visit the KLR but only with your immediate social/support bubble, so long as you do not mix between bubbles whilst on site & so long as you adhere to all other COVID secure measures."

Mid Suffolk To Re-Open on 30th/31st as below posted on Facebook.

"We are thrilled to announce that we are planning to open our doors at the Middy to the public once again over the August Bank Holiday weekend 30th and 31st August for our planned Modelmainia Event from 11am each day.
To keep to Covid guidlines it will be nessesary to book tickets online at MSLR.org.uk so if you would like to visit please look on the website for details. Tickets should be avalable later in this week but if not keep looking as one of the many jobs to do is get the ticketing system up and running.
Additionally we are in the planning stages to run Santa Specials in December and also our ever popular New Years Day steaming and full details will be available soon. Again keep an eye on the website for details.
Of course everything is dependent on the Government guidelines at the time and everything is subject to change.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Middy."

Train services will be hauled by Keighley Gasworks No.2 with carriages 256, 5, 8 and 3. Trains will depart from East Tanfield station and operate non-stop to Andrews House. Departure times from East Tanfield will be 10.30am, 11.50am, 1.10pm, 2.30pm and 3.50pm. Trains will not operate to Sunniside, this is because some track work is required here. Passengers will have around 30 minutes at Andrews House before departing back to East Tanfield. The train journey and stop at Andrews House is just under an hour.

Ecclesbourne Valley Railway: now operating three trains per day on Saturdays and Sundays, using compartment stock and with extensive precautions, ticket prices are £30 per compartment. Services will resume on Thursdays from next week, two trains per day. The results so far are encouraging.
