    Rumoured low bookings.

Gosh. 'Low bookings' must mean low by reduced capacity standards. That can't be anywhere near viable even for a company that can provide everything in house.

It does make you wonder whether the income is balancing the NR charges, fuel and staff costs, never mind anything else.

You may be looking at the wrong route. It is still showing as running via Skipton and Leeds on the 6th.

[Edit] But no longer a booking option, so I guess cancelled.

Is the 6th of August run has definitely been cancelled?

@RalphW, (whose sources of information are usually spot on,) reported rumours of low bookings for this trip, I’m
inclined to think that it’s cancelled.

Reality check. I was told, so it may not be correct, that one of the west country Saphos trips ran with just about a three figure passenger total. That's where we are. The world is not booking at present. And anything that picks up in north west towns may be affected.

Anybody got any idea on when 44871 is going to Bristol for next Sunday? I notice there's a move off St Philips Marsh HST in the morning but can't find anything west coast in the week to get the loco there.

Not sure if that Q Path is there for the Duchy as it usually departs at 0848. Mind you, nothing is normal this year.

Isn't (as per most recent SR) 60163 at Carnforth for the foreseeable for a repaint?

Could be something associated with SSE's etc or is 60009 still at NRM and need moving to ELR although I have no idea whether that is to be road or rail movement?

Wasn't the move to Carnforth more to do with work on the support coach?

SR (so it must be true albeit supported by lots of quotes) suggests a repaint into BR green (later logo) to be completed at Carnforth, as the apple green is getting 'tatty'?

60163 had been planned to move from Carnforth to Bo'ness on 1 September but now the 'Aberdonians' are all cancelled its next job appears to be on the 'Queen of Scots' on the 12th which it was to work from Stirling back to York.
