I was expecting you or Nige to be at Salterwath to be honest, the good thing about there is you can hind behind the wall and keep your microphones out of harms way, definitely one to do again when the wind is howling from the North.

Austin, you've done a great job on the dubbing and the shot in general, didn't really notice the sound edit. It most certainly wasn't a gentle Northerly breeze.

Thanks Liam, I should have moved somewhere else given the conditions but having decided on that location my stubborn streak won out!

Thank you to all for posting some amazing photographs and videos of this trip that I and a few others of the group were on. It sounded good from the inside and now we know how impressive it looked from the outside. Thanks again.

You’re very welcome, she seems to be in very good shape and there wasn’t much noise from the diesel when she passed me.

Not sure what is going on on the Furness line, the turn out for 46100 the other week was ridiculous, but Saturday night was something else, never seen so many watching.

There was no automatic change from 60 to 65mph, there is a certification process to be followed. So as @RalphW says the owner might not want the increase (at least for now).
