    OK, I should have noticed!
All the 50mph in RTT means is that the train planner lifted a 50mph schedule to copy and probably (hopefully) added some hidden adjustment to slow the point to point timings down. ( Perhaps there are no 45mph point to point timings between York and Scarborough in the train planning database. Requesting new section running times is, I understand, still a slow process.) The journey time also depends on the train load and therefore acceleration.

The train maximum speed should be shown on the train list and on the special traffic notice and that is what the crew work to, not the details on TPS, TSDB or RTT.
    Cheers, Neil

Looking back up the thread I thought a bit of clarification was in order. Unbraked vehicles are banned from the network.

What we are considering is a piped only vehicle with the brakes isolated.
When unbraked vehicles have to be moved on the network, a temporary brake pipe will be fitted to that vehicle. As stated earlier, it would need three vehicles with operational brakes behind it.
The regulations about brake force for partially fitted trains, I think, is published in section E of the White Pages of the Working Manual for Rail Staff. For many years above a certain percentage braked trains were class 7 and run at 45mph, below the percentage class 8 and run at 35mph. ( That delve in to my memory made the brain cells ache!) Nowadays, anything which isn't fully fitted and not a regular movement probably ends up on a special notice with special working instructions.

    Cheers, Neil

On Railcam, Alberta just now propelled support coach to Holgate. Alberta is tender first towards Scarborough. Will look again in a few mins to see what emerges from Holgate (The same presumably unless something else is stabled in Holgate to attach?).
EDIT: Bother! Missed the return from Holgate, hope someone else has seen it!

Anyone know what's happened to 45562? No reports on RTT since Church Fenton at 1144.
