Reminds me of photographs showing Blue Peter in the 1980's when it was painted in LNER green, especially without the smokebox numberplate.

    Regards,

She doesn't look half bad in Green! I too thought I couldn't get used to it - I liked the Grey colour! It did set her apart from other locos! But a good job! Seems like she is doing very well indeed...

Next thing Victor is to see it tearing through a station at 75ish mph in the dark, that certainly makes your senses reel...

I wonder how much of a donation it would take for them to put LNER on the tender. Just a thought.

Apart from that strange thought that is a stunning picture. Can't wait to see it with a few teaks behind it.

It's probably an illussion, but your photos do seem to be on the wrong side of the fence. Apologies in advance if this is not the case.

Yes I know that's what it looks like, but the two together are taken from a pedestrian crossing / AWR, and the top one is from the fenceline, well what's left of the fence as the local scratters have had most of the fence away.

....and I've used a long telephoto lens. But thanks for your concern :)

It is an illusion, they were taken from the same place as THIS, it's a foot crossing near Garforth.
I cloned out the grey box on mine though. ;-)

Hey Swiss - Go easy on me fella. I've only just popped my NP cherry!

It took me all evening to work out how to upload these photos.

Cloning stuff out is next weeks lesson.

1737 is the one for me - you will have gathered that I am not so politically correct if you have thought about your position

    You haven't cloned - you haven't lived!!!

What did we do before Paintshop Pro and 1600 ASA??
