    Two of us had a great day out on the Severn Valley in the Inter-Lockdown phase and here's a link to our record of the day the Valley's two oldest working engines ran non-stop from Kidder to Bridgnorth and back again. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did:

    Thanks, enjoyed it. Nice to see a couple of more unusual locations for filming.

    In passing, I'd agree they are the two oldest currently working tank engines but 7714 at 90 is a mere youngster compared with centenarian 2857.

    Oddly enough, we did also film 2857 that day, at Bewdley, shunting!

    Thanks for sharing, I thoroughly enjoyed that. Even though it was only a few weeks ago, it's easy to forget what a nice autumn it was, given the dismal November weather outside currently! I enjoyed two SVR trips last month and both were brilliant and as you say, lifted the spirits.
