"In line with Government advice webcams now to wear facemasks" :)

I suspect as it was moved from Swanage to Corfe yesterday afternoon the Christmas lights set is being worked on and the railway do not want to reveal all too early.
After all I once had to only roll of a new BA seat fabric under my bed for over a week before the public launch was held.

    Good afternoon everyone,

It has been a while since our last SOS appeal video, but below is the intro video for the next in our series. We are currently just under 28k short of our 360k target. If you can help us reach our target with a donation no matter how small or large we would massively appreciate it.

    To donate, please visit: www.saveourservice.co.uk

Please look out for the main video next week.

    Many thanks.

A couple of images of the first test run this evening of the Christmas Lights train (showing I am not that good at night photography) and the ECS from Corfe passing Harmans Cross earlier. IMG_5286.JPG IMG_5292.JPG IMG_5297.JPG

Great to watch the test train steam out of Swanage all the way to Herston tonight with the steam illuminated with all the colours from below.

Could the lights be positioned to make the engine look like santa's sleigh ? whilst the " train of lights" is a novel addition , might the operators be missing something here? With the casing, it could be used to portray something else, like an animal , or something,

Tried to book the light train ringing every half hour all-day without success. Obviously a success for SR but not for us.

I believe original dates all booked up very quickly so additional day/days added.
Some seats still available according to: https://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/events/view/enchanted-lights-and-steam
As phones can get busy, due to limited staffing [COVID-19] to answer them, may I suggest using on-line booking if practicable.

It would be great if there was online booking, but there isn't - It says PLEASE CALL - When you phone the message says Call back later and nothing about online booking. PLEASE give link to ONLINE booking.

This website page gives details but as far as I can see you can't book online: https://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/events/view/enchanted-lights-and-steam
