Thats awesome Knut, thanks for posting it! I love the 475's. They look nice in green too...as here; 475. 1142 at Lužná U Rakovník ...17th October 2010.

 

A fantastic picture of a lovely green 475.1142 John! Thank you so much for posting it! This engine is an interesting one equipped with roller bearings of both coupled- and connecting rods as you can see. Was it under steam back then do you remember?

BTW her is a bit longer study of the 475.101

Sadly not...it's boiler certificate was expired. I don't know her current status. Not been to CZ for my České dráhy fix for more that 15 months . Hope to be there for two weeks in July

Ahaha that makes sense. Interesting old roundhouse at Chomotov. They only used to open it rarely, but it seems from the website that access is better these days. Chomotov and Luzna are directly connected by rail.

 

The team behind the restoration of Albatros 498.112 has now released a video on youtube. There is possible to support this project like many others

Steam Story Agency have taken on the blue Albatros 498.022 on a 30 year repair and run deal. They hope to have it overhauled within 5 years.
