Time for a chat and a joke on arrival at Swanage.

 

This is one of my semi arty takes at the 2018 Legends of Industry photo shot on the Friday evening of the weekend. At Marley Hill on the Tanfield Railway.

 

This is another from Tanfield's photo shot part of their Legends of Industry event in 2018. This could be subject of a pub/railway quiz; "How many folk can you get into Reyrolles No2s cab?

 

Nice soft top 'Moggy' in the background!

 

Must admit 46223, that I hadn't noticed the soft top Moggy in the background. Must also admit that as the owner of a soft top Audi TT Roadster, it's shear Hell wiff a capital H having to drive with top down in sunny/dry weather........!

 

Once more unto Tanfields' 2018 Legends of Industry photo shoot. Must admit to have cropping this shot too. As it's on ther access road from the car park to the shed at Marley Hill.

Anyway as we are on the Swanage Railway can I offer a picture of this fine authoritative looking gentleman at Corfe in 2018. Swanage does BR(S) circa 1960 so well.

6th July 1963. "Jinty" 0-6-0T No. 47308 is watched by a few locals and a bored looking young lad from the weed-infested platform of Woodchester station on the occasion of a Gloucester Railway Society enthusiasts special to Nailsworth and Stroud.

 

Taken on Wed 28th approaching Summit in the Ballast Regulator after working at Beck Hole on our way back to Newbridge on the NYMR.
