Ah the old Thornycroft Line, it will be a real Milestone when the MHR reopen that (Residents of Basingstoke may see a little joke concealed in this post)

Yes the ideas of my research was to be where the sdrt could decide to put their engines wagons and the exibistionist carriages when they get to the mhr. I think some people have moved on from that now but the main points they were making were about the sdrt

In response to noisy children a number of years ago there was a letter to a railway magazine advocating 'adults only' carriages. Clearly the Epping and Ongar understood the letter differently to others.
