Let's drop the "trolling" and move on. Moving a locomotive via a low-loader isn't affecting the virus particularly if every measurement is abided to. - MHR was the only standard gauge line at least to hold a big gala with a visiting engine last Autumn. If the restrictions doesn't tighten further or even delay easing of them then MHR can run it safely as proved in October and I look forward to seeing what they have in store for 30th April-3rd May.

Actually as a delayed Throwback Thursday, 53808 on the Sunday morning during the Autumn Gala. One of my favourites from that weekend.

Memories of the Somerset and Dorset. Ironically it's 55 years ago today that the S&DJR ran it's final service train. <BJ>

Possibly time to watch ‘Return to Evercreech Junction’ yet again. Or maybe this by Chris Eden-Green

The Alresford track remodelling seems to be coming on nicely with the Up reconnected.
Did anyone else notice the SA Smith low loader yesterday? :)

Track has been laid to the mouth of the tunnel under Perins school playing fields.
Access to the strategic reserve has almost been completed.

Was the low loader bringing stock in, or taking something out?
