33111 was named 'Hotdog' by the former ops team, it was just a bit of a joke as someone said, 'its not got a name' and someone just said, 'lets call it Hotdog'. Well it stuck and even a little magnetic nameplate was made for it!

So if someone mentions HOTDOG at Swanage, they mean 33111.

It had a profound affect as my son bought a Heljan class 33/1 and I'm in the process of getting it renumbered to 33111 with a very strong possibility of adding HOTDOG nameplates! :)

Earlier in the thread there was discussion if locos should be named.
Under the current talk of women losing lives and military links it would be good if D6515/33012 kept th nameplates in memory of Lt Jenny Lewis RN.
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Richmond_helicopter_crash

Also the 4tc group has added more photos on FB
    https://m.facebook.com/SwanageTCgroup/
and the possability of a "3TC" and 33111 70s era blue white "push pull" train for special occasions and backing up off peak DMU services is getting closer.

WIBN. A Festival of Poole Area Railway locos
M7. Used to watch them shunting Poole Yard
B4. Yes saw them trundling down West Quay Rd
    Industrials.
I believe Swanage has two i/c industrials from Poole
"Bonnie Prince Charlie " From New Quay now at Didcot,
"George Jennings. "South Western Pottery Parkstone (Sister Engine Henry Cort at Foxfield
"Teddy" formerly worked at ROF Creekmoor
I've probably missed a lot but that is not a bad start!

Not good for my health having to rush up the bridge not long after lunch. Although I did know it was in steam having had to take my wife to the surgery this morning for a blood test. A couple of images not from the webcam. I assume a loaded test run as up thread it was said they hope it may be usable until the end of its ticket in May.
The rain makes the loco look far less "1967" then it does when it is dry. IMG_5673.JPG IMG_5679.JPG

Went through Corfe castle not too long ago too. Crew refresher would seem the most likely. Is something else in steam? I can see what I assume are wisps of smoke across the camera at Swanage from time to time still.

There is a little steam coming out of the U, not that you can see it against the steam from the tank in my images.
