    Most people on here know a fair bit about it as it has been aired several times. In a nutshell, the loco got into a slip, the driver hadn't put the catch in on the reverser which started spinning wildly. He couldn't do anything to stop that but didn't do anything about shutting the regulator. The NELPG support crew guy eventually shut the reg but the damage had been done. The result wa a badly damaged loco which was eventually repaired and the loco saw out its remaining boiler 'ticket'.

    The video was produced and sold by a company which no longer exists. You would have great difficulty saying this is a breach of copyright.

    On the front cover is WD 600 "Gordon" at night at Bewdley on the SVR.

    Quite interesting to see the price of the mag back then, £2.10, i paid £3.70 for the most recent one!
