In these straitened times wouldn’t 90° be the money wise option?

I don't know if you are being especially acute or wilfully obtuse - though I guess some would say that 90° is right ...

90° may be right but the same answer can be had from 270 left, which is also right.;);)

I think turning it 120 degrees would just be obtuse.

If you had said less than 90, that would have been acute of you.

Does anyone have access to the Gala working timetable that they do not mind posting? It would be useful to know where trains are passing (and pausing) to give early warning for travellers.

It's usually on SVRLive but not noticed as yet.

Just like a real red engine on the Midland Railway at Garsdale! The Turntable is now preserved at Keighley albeit without the protective stockade that was subsequently erected to protect against high winds: the legendary locomotive in the round and round incident is not known but presumably it must have been one of the Spinner class.....

Given the public timetable posted the other day it does appear likely that trains will be crossing at Arley and Hampton Loade.

Going off topic but it the story of how Garsdale’s turntable’s still with us is rather interesting. One for the KWVR thread I think.

Working timetables are usually labelled 'Private and not for publication' in my experience. That's not to say that every railway does this, though.

Thought I'd avail myself of the lunch boxes they emailed me about, but trying to order online ready for Saturday it seems that they're booked a month in advance. Oh well, I guess the refreshment rooms at Kidderminster and Bridgnorth will be doing a roaring trade!
