The smokebox door having the number of a Jubilee (Jutland) and the rest of the loco being a Duchess?

One to confuse the spotters if they jotted down the smokebox door number and if others jotted down the cabside number.

The smokebox doors of all Stanier's tender engines were interchangeable, from the 2-6-0s right up to the big Pacifics. 6232 has simply been fitted with the first door available - still with its previous owner's numberplate on it. No doubt she received her own before re-entering traffic, and the 5X got its own numberplate back too!

I must admit I wasn’t aware of that either, although @LMS2968 is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things LMS!!!
