2021 Jacobite

There is no unit at the moment John, the late morning train has been cut in the current reduced schedule.

 

Correct but there is still a stop to return and receive a token.

 

A couple of stills from myself, taken over the last few days in Scotland. Superb performances from the crews, a delight to be back up in the Highlands.

Spring in the Highlands - no midges,the bracken only just showing,virtually no traffic and Glenfinnan accessible - what's not to like !!
No doubt I will be back in the Autumn though !

Indeed - what's not to like? Only the greatly enhanced springtime fire risk.

Fair point Peter,fire risk has been an issue some Spring seasons but by no means all,and it certainly wasn't a problem this week !
The sparse traffic and lack of tourists are both results of the current pandemic of course,hopefully for the local economy things will improve soon

 

You were lucky (or maybe not!) - we were diesel "assisted" for two of the first six days of this running season.
