Lost the early sunshine but it was worth a visit to Oakengates station.
A feature of this years LSL runs has been the short headway after the preceding stopper, the Scot is recovering from a signal check.
Mk3s hidden but they look nice externally, far glossier than when BR first turned them out.

Despite the full dull conditions Royal Scot makes a fine sight and sound climbing the gentle grades north of Stafford near Mill Meece with todays loaded test run. IMG_0424AA.jpg

Well, when the train is on the move, the food won't be consumed where it was bought, so...

I wonder if this will be the new normal timings for the BP - it's ony six minutes behind a service train at Gomshall, dropping to four by Reigate. A slightly late-running service train would see the BP ambling along at best.

There might be a bit of water movement but someone has told me that these devices are called injectors. And of course you will hear a dog on board. What about the chow chow? :)

Clan Line's loaded test run captured at Shere Heath, Gomshall. A soundtrack that has been missed!
