Steam Dreams 23rd May - 60163 and 60007

    Just received a letter from Steam Dreams this morning to say that the destination has changed to York not Hull and Beverley.
    This will be my first main line run and so far I have been very impressed by the way in which it has been handled by Steam Dreams particularly as you look at the way in which some other companies handle things.
    Really looking forward to this trip and thanks to Steam Dreams for keeping us informed of the changes and the reasons why.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    We got the same letter, accompanied with another one about the Royal Scot trip we had booked on.

    We've been transferred to 70013's trip from Liv St to Norwich in April, and we will be credited the difference in price, as well as given a free glass of wine (whether that's because we'd booked dining or not I don't know)

    Yup, I'm on it, as part of a party of 28 from Stevenage Loco Society who will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary. We'll be the group in coach F with loads of beer!

    Yes, should be a good day. Looks like 60007 has got a reasonable path on the way back.

    Stock gets to Kx pretty early I beleive.

    I was wondering the same. Perhaps the tour was cancelled (caped() enroute due to mechanical problems and so there is no additional material to download?

    Hope not and would be very surprised if that was the case. Maybe all the photographers were down south filming 35028 and 70013. Still doesn't explain why no one on board has be bothered to give an account of the trip.

    Let's hope this stirs them into action!
