I don't know about the Vale of Rheidol photos, but the WLLR and Talyllyn photos aren't 1957 - the Austrian stock on the WLLR didn't arrive until the late 1960s, and likewise "Sir Haydn" on the Talyllyn didn't receive the new cab that's in the picture until it's overhaul in the 1960s. Others might be able to help provide better dates.

There is a Mark 2 Ford Cortina in the background of the photo at Towyn. The Austrian stock arrived at the WLLR in 1968, and the passenger services did not commence until 6th April 1963 between Llanfair Caereinion and Castle Caereinion.

The VoR photos are i think pre-1968 as they show the old VoR station and there is a train in the Camarthen platforms. I agree about the Talyllyn photos, the crew's hairdo is definitely not 1957.

IIRC, No.3 re-entered service with the new cab in 1968, which it certainly had in '71 when I first clapped eyes on it. The old cab was found lurking in the undergrowth ar Pendre quite recently and donated to the safe keeping of the revived Corris.

The VoR tanks were repainted with the new 'ferret & dartboard' crests in time for the 1957 season and the carriages were repainted into bronze green for the 1964 season so the photos could have been taken any time between 1957 and 1963. My guess would be around 1961/2.
