The long awaited return of the steam passenger trains on the NYMR !

 

Visited last Wednesday, spent most the time at Grosmont including lunch and 6 visits to the shed shop to spend our sons holiday money! Great to see the line open again, short video and some photos. Had a great day many thanks to everyone involved...

Jap Junk as used occasionally (more frequently until last week ) by East Coast ,TPE and GWR

 

Looks like the 9F has had a spin on the Pickering turntable.

 

I am guessing until about the 2nd week in June.
But may change.

 

You haven't mentioned the Beaver that has moved into the new carriage shed!

Hired in Volker Tamper.
Tamped all the pointwork in the the new carriage shed.
We will be doing the remaining plain line ourselves in the next few weeks.

 

Well that’s a rather big beasty!

 

That's only a litle one.
Its only got 2 axles.
Our own has 4 and the ones that have been on the Bluebell recently have a few more than that.

 

Am I right, that it jacks itself on and off a road trailer? Smaller is better, if so.

Yikes!!

 

Just looked in on Grosmont webcam, D7628 is at the Northern end of platform 3 with its set of coaches trailing onto the platform 2 track. Almost if they were obstructing the view of the carriage sidings. Hopefully not a splitting of the points?
