Interesting what runs they have in store for the Black Five down south, but it should be a lot of fun.

Just seen the 40013 pass Preston Web Cam with no 47 on rear. Hopefully they will not put one on at Crewe

Not great state of trackside on Llanvihangel Bank. Got this in a gap in the trees and bushes; and between spells of sunshine needless to say. Double Header in the countryside. Sounded good but not much smoke.

 

I had hoped Shropshire would continue the sunny conditions of the last few days this morning but after yesterday evening's showers the cloud showed no sign of clearing.
The nice pairing of 45231 leading 46100 seen just south of Whitchurch and passing the old loading screens at Sharpstones quarry.
