Details have been updated on website, impressive home fleet line up, unfortunately no visiting loco's.

Website revised 14.06.21 advising travellers can hop on hop off any train any time, previously you were tied to your seat and train all day.

Day one of the annual geriatric paraffin can event, good weather for a change and ran to time. Wooden spoon for whoever decided to top the Class 50 and the Class 56 with the Paxman, a real case of that teddy should have been out of the pram!! Spent the day around Irwell Vale. Day 2, weather distinctly different, murky grey in the morning improving to bright cloud in the afternoon, no rain showers as forecast.
Everything ran to time, I started on the Heywood branch up to early afternoon then moved to Ramsbottom to get the period DMU drag.
Selection to show what was running.

Loving the phots of 56006, was it really 22 years ago I made the trip up north to first get acquainted with it at Classic Traction in 1999? Where does the time go? :)

Day 3 and the conditions were not good, should have gone for the ride (that's tomorrow with 51456!). It rained from the off, got heavy and finally eased off about 1.00pm. I cried off just before 4.00pm, got home and the sun has the cheek to start showing its' face.
A selection of todays loco's, started around the top of the line before doing a few at Burrs, I've even added a shot of the 144 unit for those sadly afflicted, and one for the teddy bear lovers!
