From what I've heard, all the shunting for the coaching sets has been done. If this is the case, then the "Demolition Train" which I saw on Holt headshunt on Sunday consists of a (Holt to Sheringham) BR Standard Brake Van, The Steam Crane Runner, The Steam Crane, A Maroon CCT and the Ex-LMS Brake Van. A perfectly authentic mix if you ask me!

A couple more shots, from last night, this time of newly arrived 78019 and the J15 on shed after dark.

Passed the 4MT & L&Y A Class in convoy (with 1/2 mile of traffic behind them) on A148 last night as they headed for Sheringham.

Quads finished last night - they now look even more stunning.

Can I ask for a definitive list of which engines are facing which direction?

I've had my LSP, brochure and accommodation for a couple of weeks now, plotting where to go. However if any engines are smokebox out of Holt, it may throw a spanner in the works.
I know about Mayflower, any more?

I am really looking forward to this now, hope the weather stays on the good side.

I can confirm the B1 is facing Sheringham, all other engines (visitors and home fleet) face towards Holt (uphill).

Are you sure that queue of traffic wasn't just locals out to view the rare site of two proper engines in their area? =P~

They should have been grateful it was only 1/2 mile. For those unfamiliar with this road, it is single carriageway mile after mile, and very hard to overtake on... never quite a big enough straight!

I'm sure I've been in longer queues behind caravans on there! 8-[

a far more important question is, do any of the stations have a cafe? I need a cuppa at some stage :)

Sheringham certainly does, and Kelling Heath definitely doesn't! Can't remember about the others...

    Dave's chippy in Sheringham's also a must \:D/

Sheringham has the cafe (seating etc inside the station) Weybourne sells the things the cafe has like tea, ice cream, soup etc. This is eaten in a garden outside (near the workshops) or on the other garden next to the road bridge. Holt has a shop in a portacabin like building next to the model railway and station. I think this sells ice creams and things like that.

Best place to have a cut of tea is Weybourne (if its nice weather) although I should think it will be busy. And you can watch the trains go by.

Sheringham station cafe here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10260831@N ... 0/sizes/m/ (the glass bit behind the clock)

Weybourne area one is behind the bridge (will be busy)

There are also buffet cars on two of the sets.

The path at Holt should be open alongside the line, for some nice photo opportunities. Please note there is no access to the carriage storage sheds at Holt though. Pretty much every item of servicable rolling stock is in service though!

We have managed to secure some additional car parking. See the link below for details.

It remains to be seen whether the Mayflower group will be able to refrain from trying to make the dub-dee sparkle and shine!

Really gutted I can't make this one, made worse by my dad going without me! Although I didn't really fancy the 06.30 start!

Just checked the webcams, looks like nice weather today, and the tope three cams had 44422, 1306 and 76079 in view! Ah well, hope it goes well for the NNR.

Sheringham was certainly very busy this morning and the Quads were in traffic (currently in weybourne station).
There's a stall on platform 1 at Sheringham about the level crossing showing the plans and how you can sponsor sleepers etc. Oh and a certain Blue Bentley of S & D fame.
Well worth a look & platform tickets only a pound.
