Here is the fot from this morning, not too good due to awful lighting!!

Also saw one of the local idiots decide to cross the 75MPH (around) mainline with 2 dogs,a wheelbarrow and a pickaxe!!! He then proceeded to enter the sidings (disused, where i was behind the fence) and fill some buckets with coal he actually dug out!!! The problem is that the end of the disused FL owned sidings are completly open so idiots can cross the line instead of going along the road and down the path......

There's nothing wrong with a bit of "moody" lighting, it adds to the atmosphere of the photo.
If all photo's were taken in perfect light, to my untrained eye it would soon make things pretty boring.

True,i suppose everyone likes different photos there were little glimmers with the sun being in the perfect position (ahead and right of the engine with an easterly breeze) meaning smoke was no problem, there was also a very dark cloud behind the engine, but hey can't have everything!

Probably about 5 minutes early through Twyford. Expect them to hold at Reading to wait for timing. Looking fantastic, and I don't think I've ever seen so many people and children on Twyford station to see Steam. We certainly enjoyed a spectacle of engine, smoke and chime !!!!!

70013 at speed into the Severn tunnel a few minutes late.
The train was held at Bristol Parkway as booked.
    13 coaches. Comprised of 2 maroons + 11 ex-works green coaches.
Good light as it passed. South Wales also looked very good
    in the distance. <BJ>

70013 passed Magor about 5 minutes late on fast line.

Hoped to see her again at Marshfield on her way to Pengam, but missed her by seconds while we were parking.
