Also worthy to note this is 5619s final appearance at the event prior to departing for another line

A very well produced and clear timetable. Well done; this is a very pleasant line, and the GWR content does no harm!

5786/L.92 arrived safely this morning. All locos will be facing Ongar for this event.

The morning started off with abysmal grey cloud which wasn't good for photos. The afternoon was blessed with sunshine... until a train approached which is when the sun usually decided to hide behind a cloud again.

Nevertheless, a seemingly well-attended day, with favorable comments from crew and visitors alike.

The highlight for me was definitely the engineering freight set; drew some favorable comments from passengers too. Hoping we can grow this side of things in the years to come.

A couple of pictures from yesterday morning at North Weald. I think I might have to visit again for the LT weekend.

How long will L92 be there? I used to commute every day on the Ongar branch, back in the tube-train ('62 stock) days. One morning I awoke from a dream involving an LT liveried pannier tank in the loop at North Weald. If I can I really must get down there to see it come true :)
