    12 passenger coaches, two diesels, 35018 and support coach - 16 vehicles. Too long? You'd need the three locos and support coach off the platform at Woodlesford for a start, to allow passengers to alight. Plus it's on a curve, so would the driver be able to see the guard?

    Although there is radio communication between the two, on curved platforms the guard always seem to move to the middle of the train where he can see it all e.g. Staines or Bournemouth. Not sure that a 16 coach train on a curve (unfamiliar with Woodlesford) could be radio dispatched. It would need someone with operating knowledge to answer that.

    not my video but some footage of D1015's test run today . Sadly unsuccessful for the loco and I believe it is engine troubles which is a kick in the bits after all the effort put in to return it to the main line
