    Those are some amazing photos kieranhardy, me and my friend loved visiting this railway, have to admit 4953 sounding like Chewbacca was our highlight, we could not stop laughing!

    As most of you already know, GWR 813 failed during the SVR Autumn Gala with leaking tubes. The Trustees of The Fund have decided to have all a complete re-tube of the boiler. This will cost about £9000.00. It is hoped to have the locomotive back in steam by the end of October/Early November.
    The Fund is looking at seeking donations towards the cost of the new tubes. The 180 tubes will cost about £5000.00
    The Fund is a few weeks away from getting Charitable status which will allow us to register for gift Aid.
    Please keep an eye or two out for the forthcoming donation request.
