    Plenty of large locos do not have rocking grates - 60007 does not have one neither does 6233. Indeed the latter does not even have a drop grate if I remember correctly.

    Given the developing issues with obtaining decent quality coal this factor is something that you cannot really ignore any more. Add it to the list together with the ability to haul air braked trains. Forget about getting the livery right; improve the efficiency, versatility and ease of operating especially if you are using a loco on the main line.

    Looks like there may be a problem: This service is partially cancelled. This service was cancelled between Carnforth Steamtown and Carnforth Steamtown due to unknown cause ().

    But at the same time, RTT shows it as having left Carnforth. Confusing.

    EDIT: Now shown as on time at Settle Junction!

    Who knows, there often seem to be timing abnormalities on these runs round Hellifield, I recall on the LE one she seemed to do Settle Junction to Hellifield in about 4 minutes according to the timings entered!
