One or two from me Neil

14/67 80011 East Grinsted Low Level on a "sulky service" to Lewes
15/67 is 80112 (an ScR loco) and not 80012 which was always an SR loco
37/67 is 80117 (again an ScR loco) and not 80017. No idea of the location in Scotland.

    Peter

EDIT On reflection 80117 was initially allocated to the NER before transfer to Scotland and this photo looks like it could be somewhere in the North East rather than north of the border.

I don't think so Fred;). 90/105 80151 is under the lovely down end signal gantry at Southampton Central not Basingstoke.

    Other locations are:-
    10/105 80134 = Bournemouth shed
    11/105 80134 = passing Templecombe shed
    39/105 80141 = Eastbourne
    66/105 80146 = Bincombe Tunnel
67/105 80146 = Corfe Castle on the RCTS railtour 6/67
70/105 80146 = Lewes with a "sulky service" from East Grinstead
103/105 80154 = Newhaven Town L/C 4/58. It was used on the railtour for the last run of Atlantic "Beachy Head"

I'm not certain as I can't see the Power box that sits at the western end of Southampton Central hence my view that it was taken at the western end of Basingstoke under their equally lovely signal gantry; the thought that the right hand side also had lines leading to the shed also led me to that thought.

Power box is just out of sight on the right. Just visible beyond the loco can be seen one of the pylons of which there are plenty here but not at Basingstoke. 67-5-4 2 80139 (2).jpg

In keeping with the thread subject matter here is 80139 passing through in early May '67 showing the box, part of the gantry and the distant pylon.

Point noted Peter as I had thought the gantry covered ALL lines; sadly my visit to photograph 74007 on the final daytime Channel Islands Boat Train under the gantry was from the other side of the station.
