I dont see why it matters, it was a celebration for the tracklaying gangs. Im sure we'll see everyone out for the grand opening, but there's still plenty of work to do before that.

Yes. But, anyway rather sadly having to watch the day on the web back home in Sourth Yorkshire. Sometimes family commitments have to come first - even before railways. Still lots more celebratation days coming at WHR this year where we can all enjoy the teams effort together.

There is no need to get tetchy, I understand that Mike Hart is the boss of the construction company and would have thought he would have been there. It was a big day for the WHR after all.
Thanks to Mike for his answer.

Well done to everyone involved =D>

Pity you can't have full line running for the summer season (would really help the finances i'd of thought) but all in good time, im on holiday in the area in early October, hope to sample your fine work.

A fantastic day, and a big thank you to all involved, but off the subject a little, I like Roger's little trains arrangement as part of his Caernarfon- Portmadog-Blaneau signature to his postings here. very good Roger, even though I am a great fan of your train drawings I really think this is a "little" special.
    Cheers Bernard
