Not left yet but a little confusing as 5Z75 was in the goods loop and was then joined by 5Z71. Now on the move just passed the BLS camera with 47 leading.

Well this evening the logistics around Salop were different - which meant I was consistently in the wrong place at the wrong time and three quarters killed m'self trying to reposition in time!
Oh well, I've re-edited last night's footage to include some shots from this evening as well.
...I like that you can see both signalmen out on the balcony of Severn Bridge Junction Signal Box taking photos of the loco as it reverses back on to the train :)

Black Fives on Wednesday. Expect the unexpected !
44871 at Madeley in autumn sunshine with the 57 doing all the work and early after not taking the stop at Crewe,
and later 45231 at Wellington on the platform road rather than the through line as indicated in he schedule.

I presume that the headcode on 45231 is intended to display the traditional code for an empty stock working, except that the lamp on the left side of the buffer beam should be on the right.

Sorry chaps, this is not intended to be a criticism of anyone, just an observation. In the scheme of things it is irrelevant as such codes ceased to exist on the network some fourty years ago and the two lights carried could be in any position as far as Network Rail are concerned.

Must try to not be so pedantic on Nat Pres about such trivia:(.
