I've now had time to edit the fourth part of the video footage that I shot at the Mid-Hants Steam Gala and this is now on my YouTube channel; it features CITY OF WELLS departing from Alresford with the non-stop 'Pines Express' as part of the Somerset and Dorset Railway theme.

A glorious day in the sun yesterday (after fighting my way round the M25 in the morning) saw the lettering applied by Chris on both sides (touching up followed) and door fittings were also attached.

Steam Illuminations in full swing now, the second day of operating these services. Not everyone's cup of tea, but these trins are quite spectacular.

I agree with him - that Gresley CCT behind the water carrier thingy looks great! I'd be all in favour of them hiring one in!
