Just a heads up - I have prepared a copy of the stats as a spreadsheet (read-only). I have already sent it to a few people over the last couple of days - if you want them to assist in your reading of the book, please do let me know.

@S.A.C. Martin, I know I’m going off topic again. But would you happen to know when exactly Silver Link and the other Silver Jubilee A4s got their names? Was it before the Garter Blue repaint, or after?

All four "silver" A4's were named on entering service.

Names were painted on at first but on repainting in Garter Blue, cast ones were applied.

Thanks to all for the help. I have sent Simon a message. For any others who wish to do the same I note that I had to enter S.A.C Martin manually as my iPad would not Copy @S.A.C. Martin and the @ is not required.

Many Thanks for the file Simon, will study that alongside your book, which I have just received today. I haven't received a signed copy, but am looking forward to reading it thoroughly. It certainly looks well put together physically. Christmas has arrived early!

    Richard. :)

The book has arrived today, a quick flick thro' shows a superbly presented, illustrated and printed book, sooo looking forward to getting into it over the Crimbo period. Oh, and thanks for signing the book Simon.

Just to say - only 40 copies were signed, and it’s very random as to who will get one!

Many thanks to everyone who has purchased. All feedback, good or bad, gratefully received.
