Clever begger, being on all those heritage railways at the same time, I guess magic does exist.

 

Indeed and going off at an angle. RTT put together a decidedly tongue in cheek timetable for the Great Man. Starting and finishing at North Pole Junction/depot [one time home to UK based Eurostar trains] visiting as many as possible stations and extremities of the National Network.

 

Methinks the late Prof.Hawking might've given the fat man a good run for his money on that front. That'll upset Elon!

It was indeed on the GWSR. It was on a day when the railway was not running a public service. The loco was Black Prince, and her Royal Highness was a guest of the owner, David Shepherd.

 

When she opened the Havenstreet carriage works she was filmed waving the green flag to despatch the train.

 

She also renamed E850 Lord Nelson after restoration in Eastleigh Works.
