    Hi
I don't think this post should be here! [it's been moved now - richards]
Anyway the last I knew the Peckett was dismantled at Norden but that was a while back.

If its the Swanage one, it was sold on ebay to a private bidder who is, we believe, going to restore it.

If anyone knows the new owner I have patterns for most of the fittings that are missing and can probably help

The Peckett No 1611 was bought by myself, its destination will be the Beal for Holy Island Goods yard
Northumberland (Main East Coast Line} 7 miles south of Berwick upon Tweed
where it will be restored, with Gods will, Enthusiasts and a great pot of money
Any advice would be thankfully received

You could do worse than speak to the guys at Tanfield, probably your nearest preserved line for Industrial Steam. Assuming you haven't already!

Have a look at these threads and you'll see there's a good support network here for Industrials

It seems like it arrived yesterday. I went on a tour to Holy Island, and on crossing the ECML at Beal there was a Peckett in the goods yard on a low loader. When we came back 3 hours later it had been unloaded. I managed to get a shot of it on the way home from the train, which I will try and post in the next couple of days. The loco had been partly reassembled, probably just the bits they could find in the undergrowth at Swanage!
