The current length of track is about the same as the Kew museum where they run short passenger trains, so viable. Not sure if the Kew carriage has brakes, or just brakes on the Wren replica loco?.
The Purbeck museum FB page posted a potential expansion map if they get a grant to repair the bridge?.

There are some very talented NG coach builders in Wales. This is to great an asset, historically and crowd drawing to let go of.

From the official Facebook page 28 June (but not on the website?)
    Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum
"The dark green lines follow old alignments. The purple would be totally new alignments. See annotated map below with spurs off existing narrow gauge track."

    Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum
"Our first priority will be to reinstate Skew Arch Bridge. We own woodland / old clay workings either side of the bridge where old alignments run. In addition we are due to sign a lease for more land within Purbeck Park. We aim, one day to have a platform near the original engine shed location on site."

Does anyone know if the ex-WHHR coach, formerly of the Durley Light Railway, is still at Purbeck?

Looks like the answer is in a previous post. Presume it was owned privately, still on the srstock.co.uk list, no indication where it is now?
The museum still has one passenger coach.

From facebook 2 locos are now working. Looks like slow progress.
"Special thanks to the new Swanage Railway CEO for her visit, as well as the two Trustees from Swanage Railway who also visited."
but don't think anything major will happen till the SR gets back on a good financial footing!

Maybe if most of the volunteers interested in the railway had not been forced out in 2018 and accreditation had been gained at any point then progress may have happened.
Oh and blaming those ex volunteers for not driving the locos properly is bs.
