How many passengers at York will think it's a steam-powered HST, I wonder?

Should take the direct line from Masbrough Junction to Barrow Hill. This avoids Sheffield. 60007 did this route a couple weeks ago. I will go to the road bridge by the old station if i have time.

Looks good to me, I think I might just have a ride down to the steel city and combine it with a pilgramage to the Kelham Island Tavern and The Fat Cat. Decent day out for us retired pensioners. (Pension rise next month :smt023 )

60163 now moves on the 24th from York to Sheffield as EMT are naming one of their 222s Torando and 60163 will be there for the naming. after the naming 60163 will then move to Barrow Hill.

Be careful Victor. Too much Pale Rider and you'll forget all about the steamers. :smt003

    where's this from?

edit: I thought I'd heard something like this - Steam Railway 360 states on p2 that a "HST power car" will be named after Tornado.

Possibly not necessary - it could work tender first from Sheffield to Barrow Hill.

There's a triangle at Dore if turnings needed I think it will run tender first. It did on the test run to Sheffield to Barrow Hill in November

Why? She cant push her support Coach all the way form Sheffield to Barrow Hill but can go there tenderfirst pulling her coach.
