    Terrier 150!

More details will be added to the website shortly and there will a joint press release from the railways concerned but here is the special website being run by the Terrier Trust on behalf of all participants.

2022 should be a fun year!

Thank you. Very much a collective effort. Other folk are doing the hard work - especially the participating Railways and The Terrier Trust who own ‘Knowle’ and ‘Poplar / Bodiam’. I have a small co-ordination function.

Do put some of the dates in your diaries to see these very special locos at work.

Booked hotel in the IOW for the event in September, on the back of the Swanage event the weekend before, rather looking forward to a trip down South.

Not sure that this is the right place for this but as someone who delights in little yellow tank engines I was overjoyed to see that at long last Boxhill has emerged from nearly two decades of incarceration in an obscure corner of the NRM and is currently sitting proudly on the Great Hall turntable. Doesn't she look a beauty:)

Is this the next one for ‘Curator with a Camera’ Peter?

I have no idea Matt, but I could ask the question if you like.

That’s very kind of you Peter but please don’t go out of your way, I do rather like the surprise of what comes up in my YouTube feed.
But as someone with no affinity to the Southern and its constituents, I think it could be an interesting video though couldn’t it?
150+ years on and still going strong is a rather remarkable story.
Thanks again for offering to ask the question.
    Matt
