Here at Statfold we have our upcoming Enthusiast Weekend: Last Days of Penrhyn Steam on the 19th and 20th March 2022.

There will be 14 locomotives in steam along with the Burton and Ashby Tram Car No.14 and it also see's the return of 'The Goose' to operation.

It also see's the visit of Hunslet 'Gwynedd' 316 of 1883 from Bressingham Steam and Gardens seeing one of the first Penrhyn steam locomotives operating with some of the last Penrhyn steam locomotives.

It is an event not to be missed for tickets and more information see www.statfold.com/lastdaysofpenrhynsteam.

Looking forward to what should be a good event! Being fairly local to Bressingham, I've seen Gwynedd there many times so it'll be nice to see her running in some different surroundings.

Yep, Tamar HE 3756/1952 and LBSCR 672 Fenchurch. I think the frames outdoors are from WD 75118 Wheldale, but open to correction.

Possibly the next restoration project? Seaforth, HE 1026/1910, recently repatriated from Australia (one of the damper areas judging by the rust!). Also visible is Handyman, HC 573/1900, formerly at the NRM.
