    09/04/2022 - SR 4-6-2 Merchant Navy Class 35018 "British India Line" rounds the curve off Whalley Arches on the climb up the banks to Wilpshire with a running of "The Settle & Carlisle" special at Billington foot crossing.

    35018 seen just up from where the old Scout Green Signal Box used to be also some BLATANT TRESPASSING there, the return seen from Kirkby Stephen Station yard

    There is trespassing and there is trespassing. If you are going to get within the regulation 2m from the running line on a 125mph line it might be worth looking the right way for approaching trains before you do it! These sort of people shouldn’t be be allowed out on their own.

    That's a remarkable pace at Kirkby Stephen. I know that BIL was just entering a short less steep section south of the station but it's 1 in 100 either side.
