LU Heritage Trains 2022 (1938 Tube Stock on the Met 3&4 September)

A few weeks ago LTM Director Sam Mullins gave an update to the LTM Friends about the Museum and it is now on Youtube.

(If I've linked it correctly it should start at the Heritage Operations for 2022, otherwise go to about 32 minutes in)

If things go to plan, we should see:

• 1938 Stock on the Piccadilly Line in June or July.
• Sarah Siddons on the Metropolitan Line in September.

 

Does this mean that Sarah has been fitted with the new signalling gubbins, or is it only on the outer section which doesn't yet have the new signalling system?

Unfortunately Sarah Siddons will not be fitted with the CBTC equipment, but the Metropolitan line will still allow Tripcock protection from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Amersham for the Chiltern trains. I don't think the Uxbridge branch will have been converted at that point therefore the train can come out of Ruislip Depot to get to Harrow.

38 tube stock on the Met on 3&4 September. Each day consists of three Amersham to Watford returns and one Amersham to Harrow-on-the-Hill single.
