Great Britain XIV 2022

I strongly suspect so as the stock is setting off from Carnforth to Grange for tomorrows leg at 0359 tomorrow morning.

With the rather strange running of the stock tomorrow morning (via reverse at Askam) I do wonder whether as on a previous occasion the Grange to Carnforth leg may find itself with a diesel on the front?

There are people who go out with a camera and there are people who go out with a camera and either make sizeable financial contributions to the heritage railway movement of spend much of their remaining spare time doing the hard graft in keeping the wheels of steam moving. Sounded superb at Crawford Al

 

It sounded good near the front, but at the break in Carlisle, a passenger in dining near the middle, complained that all he could hear was the 47.

 

Can’t say if the 47 was helping at Crawford as it flashed passed us that fast .

 

It did sound good and I'm one table nearer than Paul
