Accommodation Llangollen area

any recommendations guys, I`ve got to take the Bitterhalf with me this time, any cheap hotels, pubs, spare sofas etc anywhere along the tracks???

 

I believe Carrog campsite have a few pitches left.

£120 for 10 nights...

That's where I'm staying with Ally and the puppy. (thats not a puppy this time)

So the word I'm staying there has got out..... (I booked back in November being oddly organised)

 

I am also staying there. Stayed there in 2007.

 

I checked out the Greenbank site and it said 39 quid for the night yet when I emailed him it came back as 55???

Be aware that some places might hike up the prices due to some steam type event on somewhere

so if they agree a price on the phone pay there and then if you can

And do not mention any events at Llangolllen railway

 

the Bridgeend seems alright at £50 for a double, just waiting for a return email

 

you will be...... oh so lucky to get in there

 

I have my bed sorted. 10 mins walk from the railway and only £4 a night! The campsite to the north of the town is nice and cheap and the owners are lovely. As I'm at the gala for all 9 days all thats left is to pray it doesn't rain all flippin' week!!

 

didnt even get a reply from the bridgend, but problem solved,managed to track down an old mate lives in llangollen, 4 cans of lager, sorted, stay as long as we want lol, I just hope my livers up to it 8-[
