I guess timetables are still "work in progress" as there are no loco's attached as yet, but there are three curious times in italics that are just departures from Bury and three from Ramsbottom with no intermediate times beyond. Freight/parcels perhaps?

Website updated today, timetables will be issued 27/06/22.
56006 has been pulled from the line up
    Trans-Pennine class 68 added
    List of Dmu's added

I'm sure T/P can spare a class 68, they have more strikes per operator than most other TOC's, chance for them to get a few pennies back!
Personal view, will not be shared by all I'm sure, but I don't see current modern loco's on a heritage railway diesel weekend. Provided T/P are not on strike you can travel behind one of these any time. The class 60 I can see to a degree as they are rarely on passenger duties. Whatever I will be there Friday and Saturday, have a work appointment Thursday. One of the best events in the calendar year.

Plenty of photos appearing on social media now. I can't make it but I'm severely wishing I could. The 68 does look distinctly odd with a set of Mk1s and 2s. Just...incongruous. Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing them with shiny modern stock, maybe it's because they're so angular and hard-edged against the more rounded, homely classic British diesels.

My contribution for today, try to give a cross section of the motive power and different locations, dodging the rain! P1140838.JPG P1140840.JPG P1140845.JPG P1140846.JPG P1140849.JPG P1140851.JPG P1140859.JPG P1140862.JPG P1140864.JPG P1140865.JPG

Selection of shots from Saturday, emphasis on visitors along with my favourite resident, the Warship. Thanks to all who put the effort into organising the event and for the visiting loco owners for bringing their steeds.
