6233 on today's Norwich to Windsor tour. Arrival at the Watton-at-Stone water stop and then departure from one bridge up the line. Also includes the light engine move yesterday from Letchworth Greenway. Photos to follow.

I suppose once it was impractical to base a loco at York this year for the SSE, steam throughout on the Waverley became a casualty. Let's hope it's a one season only thing.

It appears that both Standard and First class are now full on The Atlantic Coast Express with 35028 on 2nd July.
The 9th July trip to Weymouth still has seats left at the moment.

I think it's a short train as well i.e. not 12 + POB as UKRT often runs with.

is there a reason why RTC are still advertising the CME on 25th June when there is a rail strike?

Their Scarborough Flyer is set to run that day as well. Steam Dreams have a Weymouth trip on the 23rd June, also when the strikes are on, but they have at least noted on their website that said trip may not go ahead because of the strikes. RTC should probably do the same.

I guess because as of yesterday all the trains both service and charter were showing in RTT (and hence I assume the NR system). Things have become clearer today, although with the RMT hard line executive "negotiations" were only ever smoke and mirrors.

Have had an email from RTC that the Stratford on Avon Pullman on 30th July has been cancelled. That "the MNLPS Society have cancelled the tour".

Sadly, I believe this was all down to (a lack of) numbers.

There was nothing wrong with the destination, motive power or the means of getting there but for those it was pitched to it appears they had other priorities, or to be fair, financial considerations.

RTC have confirmed their Christmas programme on the website. Mostly being hauled by 46233 and 'A Black 5'.
Got a couple of new trips including Blackpool Illuminations and a Kentish Belle on Armistice Day with Bahamas. The Bristol to Chester Christmas Cheshireman and Ealing Broadway to York Yuletide Express is also Bahamas one way and Duchess the other (Bahamas attaching at Humberstone Road on the Yuletide Express)

I think the York Yuletide Express on November 26th May be the Duchess both ways Leicester to London, the header says the Duchess, the description below mentions Bahamas but may have been cut and pasted from a previous trip??

Definitely Duchess only. They share the Cheshireman from Bristol on the 19th November with Bahamas northbound and the Duchess southbound. First time I’ve known that happen on a Cheshireman tour from Bristol. My personal highlight is the Duchess to Edinburgh on the 21st December.
